This means that the radiation dosage is greatly reduced and the x rays and pictures are instantly available so that we can use the images to help explain the condition of your teeth and discuss any treatment options.

We have a CT Scanner which allows us to take 3D X rays. This is essential in safe planning for dental implants but also helps us with planning for extractions and with root canal treatment. The scans take 1 minute and we get the results immediately so that we can make a diagnosis and discuss your treatment options immediately.

Our Trios 3 Shape scanner allows us to take digital impressions of your teeth. This means no more messy and uncomfortable putty impressions! The scanner creates a very accurate model of your teeth which can be used to explain the condition of your teeth, to make dental crowns and veneers on natural teeth or on dental implants.

It can also be used to show you a predicted final result from teeth straightening treatments such as Invisalign. The scans can also be used to keep a record of the condition of your teeth and help in picking up any deterioration of the your teeth between visits, thus helping us to prevent problems worsening. This technology shortens treatment times and improves the accuracy and fit of dental crowns and veneers.

At Beech Lane Dental Care our dentists have over 20 years’ experience in practicing amalgam-free and metal-free dentistry. All fillings are tooth-coloured composite fillings and all our crowns and veneers are either Emax or Zirconia. This ensures natural looking, durable restorations.
